Nature ยท Light ยท Editing

Frames from the quiet weather.

I'm Badal โ€” a nature photographer working out of the Indian Himalayas. This is where I share the photographs I take, and the editing that turns a frame into a feeling.

Editing

The frame is half the story. The edit is the other half.

Colour grading

Moody greens, warm highlights, soft shadows. I treat colour like a second composition.

Light & contrast

Recovering highlights in misty scenes, deepening skies without crushing detail.

Retouching

Sensor spots, dust, and the occasional plastic bag โ€” cleaned quietly, never obviously.

Crop & framing

Reframing a photo is sometimes the whole edit. Aspect ratios matter.

Field journal

Notes from the road.

Let's work together

Got a place in mind? I'll bring the camera.

Editorial assignments, brand shoots, prints, or a quiet week in the mountains. I read every message.
